What to say about Dani Dugava? It is a commendable neighborhood event where there is something for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I participated only today, the last day, in the children's program. There were various workshops, the ones for making dolls using the felting technique, a music workshop, a pub quiz... I listened to everything from the corner, actually from a small shade behind the school. With my workshop, codenamed \"Greetings from Dugava\", I tried to convey the love of postcards to the children (and some parents). I'm sorry that this custom of sending postcards is slowly falling into oblivion and is being replaced by various messages on mobile phones. Fortunately, I still have a few friends with whom I exchange impressions and memories, so we send each other colorful postcards from various places where the road takes us. I love these little signs of attention. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The children chose substrates on which they pasted various pictures with the motifs of our neighborhood: school, kindergarten, church, soccer field, ... all in retro or black and white versions. They were especially enchanted by the \"stickers\" of local graffiti, murals, the library, bus 220,...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And again I set up the board for \"Leave a Trace\". The little kids started by leaving traces with acrylic paints, and then the older ones enthusiastically continued with sprays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was very lively. Many people stopped by for a glass of Cedevita or homemade elderberry juice, so they stayed to make something as a souvenir. They were surprised because they could send everything immediately. Namely, I also provided postage stamps for everything to be sent in Croatia. Mostly, I mentioned the workshop to madame at the Post Office, so I believe that there will be no surprise when unusual mail with an unusual format starts arriving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I organized a raffle again, but as a side activity, so the result of fundraising is somewhat more modest. Anyway, everything goes to humanitarian purposes, just like at the Community Festival and again at Mali Zmaj, because that's what those who played decided to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
